Rental requirements
Our insurers set the driver criteria below. Every named driver must meet all of them, and we must hold clear copies of your supporting documents before the keys are handed over.
Driver criteria
Minimum age 25
Every named driver must be 25 or over on the day of collection.
Licence held 2 years
A full licence held continuously for at least 24 months.
Maximum 6 penalty points
More than 6 points on your licence means we cannot insure the hire.
Valid email address
Used for your confirmation, invoice and reschedule updates.
Valid phone number
A UK-reachable mobile for collection, delivery and roadside contact.

Driving licence — front
Photocard front, all four corners visible, no glare.
Driving licence — back
Reverse of the photocard showing categories and endorsements.
Proof of address
Dated within 3 months. Bank statement preferred — not your driving licence.
DVLA licence share code
Generate at gov.uk 'View or share your driving licence information'. Valid 21 days.
Passport copy
Photo page, clear and in colour.
Your proof of address must be something other than your driving licence — a bank statement dated within the last three months is preferred. Utility bills and council tax letters are also accepted.
A valid email address — confirmations, invoices and reschedule decisions are sent there.
A valid phone number we can reach on the day of collection, delivery or return.
