BNG COLLECTIVE LTD (company number 17400013), registered at Unit 1 Mount Pleasant, Wembley, England, HA0 1TX, is responsible for the information submitted to BNG Rentals.
What we collect
When you request a vehicle or become a customer, we collect contact details, address, date of birth, journey and booking information, driving licence details and images of both sides of each proposed driver’s licence. We may also hold agreement signatures, documents, correspondence and relevant vehicle or payment-related records.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to requests, assess driver eligibility, prevent fraud, arrange and administer hires, prepare agreements, comply with legal obligations and address disputes. Depending on the activity, our legal bases are steps towards a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating a safe rental service. We ask for your acknowledgement when you submit driver details and documents.
Who can access it
Authorised BNG Rentals staff can access records and private document storage. We use service providers to host and operate the website and secure records. We may share information with insurers, authorities or other parties where necessary or required by law. Licence documents are not published on the website.
How long we keep it
We keep customer documents, including driving licence images, for 12 months, after which they are deleted. Other records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for legal, accounting and dispute requirements. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request deletion where applicable.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to certain uses, or request a copy where applicable. Email admin@bngrentals.co.uk. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
